Building Bell Schedules
At Huron City Schools, we’re committed to creating consistent, structured routines that support student learning and well-being. Below you’ll find the bell schedules for each building, including start and end times, class periods, and lunch/recess blocks.
Please note:

Early dismissals and schedule adjustments (e.g., delays or special assemblies) will be communicated through ParentSquare and posted on our district website.

If your student attends more than one building (or takes classes at a different school), be sure to reference both schedules.
Daily Bell Schedule
Students May Enter the Building: 7:25 AM
Warning Bell: 7:40 AM
Start of the School Day/Tardy Bell: 7:45 AM
Kindergarten Lunch/Recess: 10:35 – 11:30 AM
1st Grade Lunch/Recess: 11:10 AM – 12:05 PM
2nd and 3rd Grade Lunch/Recess: 11:45 AM – 12:35 PM
4th and 5th Grade Lunch/Recess: 12:15 – 1:00 PM
Students Dismissed: 2:35 PM
2-Hour Delay Bell Schedule
Students May Enter the Building: 9:25 AM

Students may enter the hallway and go to their lockers: 9:20 – 9:25 AM
Period 1: 9:25 – 10:00 AM
Period 2: 10:03 – 10:38 AM
Period 3: 10:41 – 11:16 AM
Period 4: 11:19 AM – 12:05 PM
6th Grade Lunch: 11:35 AM – 12:05 PM
Period 5: 12:08 – 12:54 PM
7th Grade Lunch: 12:08 – 12:38 PM
8th Grade Lunch: 12:41 – 1:11 PM

*Students who start their day at the high school will report to the high school. Their day will begin at 9:30 am, and following their first-period class, there will be school transportation to take them to McCormick.
