Superintendent and Treasurer to Host Fall Community Conversations

Huron City Schools families and community members will have three chances this fall to sit down with district leadership over a cup of coffee.
Superintendent Dr. James Tatman and Treasurer Mike Limberios will host a series of community conversations at Gathering Grounds Coffee House beginning in September. The sessions are open to everyone in the Huron community, whether or not you have students in the district.
The schedule:
- Wednesday, September 16, 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.
- Saturday, October 17, 8:00 to 9:00 a.m.
- Wednesday, November 18, 7:30 to 8:30 a.m.
The days of the week and times of day vary intentionally. Between afternoon and early morning options and both weekday and weekend sessions, the goal is for every community member to be able to attend at least one.
These conversations are informal by design. There is no presentation and no formal agenda. Dr. Tatman and Mr. Limberios will be available to share updates on what is happening across the district, answer questions about academics, facilities, and finances, and listen to what is on the minds of Huron residents.
No registration is required. Just stop in.
Questions in the meantime can be directed to the district office.
